CAROLINE SISON, MPH
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As the Vice President of Business Development, Caroline is responsible for the strategic development, sustainability, and growth of Anka’s mission by developing business opportunities and partnerships. Caroline provides leadership to Anka’s business development and marketing division, overseeing all proposal development, marketing and communication efforts. Her background in public health and fresh ideas is the biggest strength she brings to the Anka team.
Prior to joining Anka, Caroline worked for Contra Costa County’s Behavioral Health Division in various capacities, including Health Services Planner/Evaluator, Training Coordinator, and Ethnic Services Manager. She helped shape and strengthen workforce development programs and led several successful grant endeavors. Additionally, she coordinated the Division’s cultural competency efforts to ensure equitable and quality care for disadvantaged populations accessing the County’s public mental health system. Caroline’s past experience includes health research, evaluation and quality assurance through her roles with Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research in Oakland, University of California San Francisco, and the Department of Public Health in San Francisco.
Caroline holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor in Arts in Psychology and Health Science from San Francisco State University. She currently resides in El Cerrito where she spends her free time chasing after her toddler.
